Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of expertise in Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, and Reactive Systems to lead the development of high-throughput, low-latency applications. You will architect scalable microservices, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in reactive programming, cloud-native development, and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the design & development of reactive microservices using Spring WebFlux, Reactor, and R2DBC
· Architect high-performance, non-blocking systems optimized for concurrency & resilience
· Define reactive patterns (backpressure, retries, circuit breakers) and enforce best practices
· Optimize PostgreSQL/Hibernate interactions for reactive pipelines (R2DBC, Spring Data Reactive)
· Collaborate with SRE/DevOps to deploy on AWS/Azure/GCP (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
· Conduct code reviews, improve testing strategies (JUnit 5, Testcontainers, contract testing)
· Troubleshoot production issues (latency, memory leaks, thread blocking) in reactive apps
· Mentor junior developers and evolve team technical standards
· Research emerging trends (Project Loom, Virtual Threads, Spring 6+ features)
Required Skills:
· Expert in Java 11+ (Concurrency, Performance Tuning, JVM Internals)
· Spring Boot & WebFlux Mastery (Functional Endpoints, RSocket, Reactive Security)
· Reactive Systems (Reactor, R2DBC, Event-Driven Architecture, Saga Pattern)
· PostgreSQL/Hibernate (Optimized queries, reactive transactions, connection pooling)
· Cloud & DevOps (Kubernetes, Observability – Prometheus/Grafana, CI/CD)
· Testing (JUnit 5, Mockito, Integration/Load Testing for Reactive Apps)
· Leadership (Mentoring, RFCs, Tech Decision-Making).
Nice-to-Have:
· Kafka/RabbitMQ (Event Sourcing, CQRS)
